Referral Program Terms

1. The Program

The SC01Guide.com Referral Program (“the Program”) is operated by Vermel Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). It lets a member with an account share a personal referral link or code, and it may award reports to members as described below. These Referral Program Terms are part of, and are governed by, our Terms of Service. By sharing a referral link or code, or by creating an account through one, you agree to these terms.

2. Definitions

A “Referrer” is a member whose referral link or code was used. A “Referred Member” is a person who creates a new account after using that link or code. A “Verified Signup” is a Referred Member account that we have determined, in our sole discretion, to be a genuine new account held by a different person on a different device and network from the Referrer. A “Qualifying Purchase” is the Referred Member’s first purchase of a report pack containing more than one report. “Awarded Reports” are report credits we add to an account under the Program.

3. Awards

Subject to every other section of these terms, the Program may award the following. Each award applies at most once for each Referred Member, no matter how many purchases that member makes.

• To the Referrer, for each Verified Signup: five complimentary reports.
• To the Referrer, for a Referred Member’s Qualifying Purchase: reports equal to one half of the reports in that purchase, rounded down, up to a maximum of 25 reports.
• To the Referred Member, for a Qualifying Purchase of 25 reports or more: five complimentary reports.

A purchase of a single report is not a Qualifying Purchase and does not earn an award. A Referred Member’s standard complimentary reports are the same offer every new account receives and are not part of the Program.

4. Holds and Release

Every award is held before it is released. Awards tied to a Qualifying Purchase are held for at least 15 days after the purchase. Awards tied to a Verified Signup are held until our review of the new account is complete. We release an award only when the hold has passed and none of the conditions in Section 6 apply. An award that is never released has no value and creates no obligation.

5. Nature of Awarded Reports

Awarded Reports are report credits on our Site. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged or redeemed for money, credit, goods, services, or any other consideration, cannot be sold, and cannot be transferred to another account. Awarded Reports expire as stated at the time of release, or as stated in our reports policy in the Terms of Service, whichever is earlier. Awarded Reports do not count as a purchase for any purpose, including eligibility, refunds, or account standing.

6. Our Discretion

We decide, in our sole and absolute discretion, whether any signup is a Verified Signup, whether any purchase is a Qualifying Purchase, and whether any award is planned, held, released, reduced, or cancelled. We may withhold, cancel, or decline to release any award at any time, before or after the hold period, for any reason or no reason, including where we believe in good faith that any of the following applies:

• The Referrer and the Referred Member are the same person, share a household, device, network, or payment method, or are otherwise acting together.
• An account was created with a false, temporary, or duplicate email address, or by automated means.
• A purchase was refunded, disputed, charged back, or made with a payment method we cannot verify.
• A referral link or code was posted in a way that violates Section 7, or was presented as an official communication from us.
• Any account involved is in breach of the Terms of Service or is suspended or closed.

Our decisions under this section are final. We are not required to explain a decision, and no decision creates a right to any award for anyone else.

7. Sharing Rules

You may post your referral link or code anywhere that permits it. You must not send unsolicited bulk messages, post where posting is prohibited, pay or offer anything for signups, impersonate us, state or imply that you speak for us, or describe the Program or our reports in a way that is untrue. You are responsible for following the rules of any site or community where you post, and for any disclosure that applicable law requires when you share a link that may earn you a benefit.

8. Changes and Termination

We may change, suspend, or end the Program at any time, with or without notice. Changes apply to awards not yet released. Ending the Program cancels every award that has not been released. Awards already released remain subject to Section 5 and to the Terms of Service.

9. Taxes and Law

You are responsible for any tax that applies to you because of an award. The Program is void where prohibited. These terms are governed by the law and venue stated in the Terms of Service.
