Refund Policy

1. Overview
SC01Guide.com is operated by Vermel Ventures LLC, a California limited liability company (“we”, “us”). This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for the digital products sold on SC01Guide.com: vehicle report credits and the reports you unlock with them. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Digital Products and Instant Delivery
Everything we sell is digital and delivered instantly. Credits are added to your account immediately on purchase, and a report is generated the moment you spend a credit to unlock it. Because the product is delivered and consumed at once, an unlocked report is generally non-refundable. Unused credits remain on your account and can be refunded as described below.
3. When We Will Refund You
We will issue a refund in the following situations:
- Duplicate or incorrect charge: you were billed more than once for the same purchase, or a charge resulted from an error on our part (for example a billing or system error on our side). This does not cover a purchase you made by mistake or later changed your mind about.
- Technical failure: you were charged but the credits were not added, or you spent a credit and the report failed to generate or was unusable, and we cannot put it right.
- Unused credits: you request a refund of credits you have purchased but not yet spent, within 14 days of purchase.
4. When We Cannot Refund
We are not able to refund a credit that has already been spent to unlock a report, except in the technical-failure case above. Reports are informational and drawn from public and community data sources; dissatisfaction with what a report reveals about a vehicle, a purchase you made by mistake, or a change of mind after a report has been unlocked, is not by itself a basis for a refund. Please use the free VIN decode and review our Terms of Service before purchasing.
5. Consumer Rights (EU, UK, and Elsewhere)
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer right you have under the law of your country. Consumers in the EU and UK normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By purchasing and immediately unlocking a report, you ask us to begin supplying that digital content right away and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for content already delivered. This does not affect your right to a refund of credits you have not yet spent, or your rights where a product is faulty or not as described.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the date of purchase and, if you have it, the receipt or order reference. Tell us briefly what went wrong. We aim to respond within a few business days.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment provider. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for the refund to appear. We do not store your card details; the refund is handled by the same provider that processed your payment.
8. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong with a purchase, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a card dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
